Fethiye Restaurants: Dining Gems - Cinbal Kebap Restaurant (Kayakoy)

Sitting beneath the empty houses of the deserted Greek village, Cinbal offers a wonderful dining experience. Tables are dotted around the gardens,

cinbal offering a choice of sun or shade under the trees and vines. After choosing and sampling what is an impressive range of meze (starters), you can then sample one of the great dishes of the area - lamb tandir. This is a very slow cooked (many hours), amazingly tender lamb, served in totally uncomplicated styel. No sauces, just the tastiest freshly cooked lamb - you really must try this! Main course is another fine experience. Choose from a wide range of steaks, meats, lamb cutlets, kebaps, and a BBQ is brought to the end of your table, lit and ready for you to freshly cook your meal. Also fresh vegetables including stuffed mushrooms, all BBQ very nicely too.

There's plenty of space for all and also for children to run around - including a park area with swings and the like for their enjoyment (and yours when they leave you in peace for a while!).

It is a lovely place to eat in summer, but almost a completely different, but equally enjoyable dining experience in winter - when everything simply moves inside. Each table has a hatch in the stone wall, through which your lit BBQ appears. The heat from that, and from the large central log fire make Cinbal in Kayaköy a recommendation for all year round.
